My Alyssa Off To Med School

Alyssa left home this morning.  Med school orientation starts this week, she is on her way to another milestone in her career.  Looking at her this morning while trying to wake her up to catch the shuttle to the airport I felt sad she will have to bear more and more sleepless nights for four years.  To quote from my speech four years ago, "you will be wide awake studying while the whole world is partying"......

Her one month vacation was enough to charge and be ready again to be buried in thick books of anatomy, epidemiology. 

I am doubling my prayers for safety, chastity, intercession from the Holy Spirit for my daughters in the jungle of people and cars and chaos. 

I am looking forward to seeing her again.  Very soon my Alyssa.  I am missing you already.  Blog for missing my other daughter in another episode.  Right now I have the urge to pray hard.

Please Lord, Mama Mary I entrust my daughter again  under your care.  Please send her guardian angel to keep her safe always.
